Our client is looking for an experienced, commercially focused In House Sales Trainer to develop their sales team, support new starters and drive consistent improvement in sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured new-starter sales training.
  • Conduct regular 1-to-1 coaching sessions with sales staff.
  • Carry out call reviews, role plays and side-by-side coaching to identify and improve sales behaviours.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, setting clear objectives and development plans.
  • Identify individual and team performance gaps and deliver targeted training.
  • Provide ongoing coaching around objection handling, closing, communication, and sales techniques.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, guides, and sales resources.
  • Work closely with Sales Management to improve team performance, conversion, and results.
  • Track training and coaching outcomes and make recommendations for further development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales training, sales coaching, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of improving sales performance through coaching and development.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques and KPIs.
  • Confident delivering both group training and 1-to-1 coaching.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and feedback skills.
  • Comfortable conducting performance reviews and having challenging performance conversations.
  • Highly organised, proactive and results-driven.
  • A genuine passion for developing people and creating high-performing sales teams.

You will be required to attend the office in Farnham on a daily basis, you will need to be able to drive for this position and have access to your own transport.
