Are you an organised, proactive professional who enjoys making things run smoothly? My client is looking for a hands-on Office Manager to play a key role in keeping their operations efficient, compliant, and well organised.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across operations, compliance, HR administration, and business support, helping to drive continuous improvement while supporting a collaborative and growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support quality, environmental, and compliance management systems (including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and keep policies, procedures, and documentation up to date.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and ESG reporting where required.
  • Assist with recruitment administration, onboarding, inductions, and HR record management.
  • Support tenders, proposals, and client submissions by providing operational and compliance information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support CRM and operational systems.
  • Monitor key performance measures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to support day-to-day business operations.

About You

  • Experience in operations, compliance, quality management, business support, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions focused.
  • Commercially aware with an interest in continuous improvement and sustainability.
  • Experience supporting tenders, audits, or HR administration is desirable.
  • Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, or a related industry would be an advantage.

If you’re looking for a flexible part-time role where you can make a real impact and be involved in a broad range of business activities, we’d love to hear from you.

Adele

Director

Adele has worked in the recruitment industry for pretty much her entire life! She started out with a major plc where she rapidly moved through the ranks to become the youngest area manager on record. Following this she ran a 60 branch independent network before taking the plunge in 1994 and starting her own business. By her own admission this was probably one of the scariest things that she has ever done (and she has had 5 kids and had jumped out of an aeroplane at 12,000 feet!).

“After years of managing other people, getting back to the sharp end dealing with employers and candidates at first was terrifying – would I be able to do what I had spent years training others to do? I needn’t have worried, my view that recruitment is not rocket science was reinforced and it was evident that so many people were getting it wrong. By simple caring more and trying harder to get people what they want, my business was a runaway success”
