Are you an experienced IT Operations Manager looking for an opportunity to lead and shape a high-performing IT function? We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded professional to oversee day-to-day IT operations, manage third-party suppliers and ensure the delivery of secure, reliable and efficient technology services across a growing organisation.


This is a varied and hands-on leadership role where you will play a key part in driving operational excellence, improving service delivery and supporting future business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day management of IT operations, infrastructure and support services.

Manage external IT support and cyber security partners, ensuring service levels are achieved.

Lead and develop the internal IT operations team, creating a customer-focused support culture.

Oversee the maintenance, performance and availability of hardware, software and network infrastructure.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, ensuring IT services meet operational needs.

Manage supplier relationships, budgets and service agreements.

Support the delivery of IT projects and operational improvements.

Oversee onboarding processes, equipment lifecycle management and user access.

Ensure cyber security controls, monitoring and incident management processes remain effective.

Support data protection activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and governance requirements.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across IT operations and service delivery.

 


About You:

Proven experience managing IT operations within a complex business environment.

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, service delivery and supplier management.

Experience leading and developing IT support or operations teams.

A solid understanding of cyber security, identity and access management, patching and incident response.

Knowledge of data protection and operational compliance requirements.

Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.

Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
